The aid of cutting-edge analytical technology has become indispensable for developing new products and improving the existing product range. A team of specialists from the Analytical Division provides comprehensive and powerful support for a range of tasks, from basic and development research on products to factory quality control.

Analysis - For High Quality Products

The Analysis Department is engaged in a wide variety of tasks such as product quality control, clarifying the causes of production problems, and analysing the composition of materials used. We have created a database of analysis cases and a system that enables full-text searches of similar past analysis cases, thereby improving the efficiency and speed of analysis work.

Analyzers

Our equipment is divided into four major categories, including those for watching surfaces, investigating the composition of inorganic materials, analyzing the structure of organic materials, and observing thermal behavior, each of which is equipped with the latest equipment.

Exploring New Analytical Methods

Analytical technology is constantly advancing, and the Analytical Division actively participates in external lectures and other events to keep up with the latest technology. We also develop new analytical techniques for requested items that cannot be handled with existing techniques. Recently, we have introduced a technique using fluorescence microscopy to observe materials and structures that are difficult to confirm with optical microscopy and electron microscopy (SEM).

Digitizing Technology

The use of rapidly developing digital technology has made it possible to improve the efficiency and sophistication of business operations at a lower cost. In order for our company's operations to also benefit from the development of digital technology, we are developing systems that respond to various requests from within the company in cooperation with the Information Systems Department.

In developing systems, we utilize the latest technologies, such as various IoT devices and cloud infrastructures. In addition, taking advantage of the expertise of the R&D department, which has small-scale facilities and operations similar to those of a factory, the R&D department itself first becomes a user of the developed system and operates it on a trial basis to efficiently develop a system that meets the needs of each factory in the company and end users.
